Abyssinian oil

From the crambe abyssinica seeds, this non greasy oil contains unusually high levels of fatty acids significantly improving tone and texture and replacing essential skin lipids.

Crambe abyssinica is native to the Mediterranean region and eastern Africa, particularly in the area originally called Abyssinia which today is known as Ethiopia. This plant was introduced into the United States in the 1940.s and successfully grown in the northern central states chiefly in North Dakota.

From the phyllanthus emblica fruit (used in ayurvedic medicine).

Vitamin A is easily degraded by light and air; it is protected in the Sarah Chapman Skinesis products by airless packaging. Photosensitive Vitamin A in the skin is also degraded by UV light so it is essential to replace on a daily basis.
